Frier Levitt Appoints Partner Christopher S. Mayer as General Counsel

Pine Brook, NJ (November 5, 2025) – Frier Levitt, a national boutique law firm focused on healthcare and life sciences, announced today that Partner Christopher S. Mayer has been appointed General Counsel of the firm. In addition to this new role, Mayer will continue to serve as Chair of the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group.

A seasoned litigator and advisor with more than 25 years of experience, Christopher has built a national practice handling complex employment and labor matters for companies ranging from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 organizations. He represents clients across many industries providing strategic counsel on high-stakes disputes, regulatory compliance, workplace investigations, and executive compensation issues.

Christopher is ranked in the Chambers USA Guide (2025) for Labor & Employment in New Jersey.  He also serves as counsel to the Home Care & Hospice Association of New Jersey and routinely represents hospitals, physician practices, home care agencies, and other healthcare providers in agency investigations and employment-related litigation.

As General Counsel, Christopher will oversee the firm’s internal legal affairs, including risk management, ethics and compliance, employment matters, and professional responsibility.

Christopher earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his B.S. from Denison University. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and multiple federal courts.
