Paul S. St. Marie, Jr.

Paul is an associate attorney in Frier Levitt’s Life Sciences Litigation Group where he represents a variety of healthcare professionals in complex business disputes in litigation and arbitration including specialty, retail and compounding pharmacies, wholesalers/distributors, health plans, 340(b) covered entities and contract pharmacies, and other healthcare providers. Paul frequently represents pharmacies in a wide variety of disputes including audit and network access disputes with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (“PBMs”) as well as pharmacy and pharmacist clients in Board of Pharmacy (“BOP”) matters involving BOP licensing, inspections, investigations and enforcement actions.

Additionally, Paul has an extensive background in intellectual property law where he represented clients in patent infringement actions across a wide array of technology areas which included pharmaceuticals covered by the Hatch-Waxman Act. As a result, Paul’s prior experience spans all stages of litigation, from managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, motion practice, drafting settlement agreements, and preparing both fact and expert witnesses for trial.

In law school, Paul served as a staff editor of the Rutgers University Law Review, participated in multiple moot court competitions, and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Leonard P. Stark (D.D.E.) and the Honorable Peter G. Sheridan (D.N.J.).
