Adino “A.J.” Barbarito, Esq. is an Associate in Frier Levitt’s Life Sciences Litigation practice group. A.J.’s practice focuses on representing a variety of healthcare professionals in all aspects of litigation in both federal and state courts, and in arbitration. In particular, A.J. represents pharmacies in PBM contract and reimbursement disputes, as well as in connection with audit disputes and network termination issues.
Prior to joining the firm, A.J. represented municipalities and boards of education throughout the State of New Jersey in various matters related to Public Law, including Labor & Employment and Education Law. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Amy O’Connor, J.A.D. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division in Morristown, NJ, in addition to clerking for the Honorable Christine Vanek, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Civil Part, in Jersey City, NJ.
During his time in law school, A.J. concentrated in health law, and served as a legal intern for the Honorable Stuart Rabner, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey in Fairview, NJ. A.J. also served as a student attorney in the Impact Litigation Clinic in the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice in Newark, NJ, arguing before a panel of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
