Frier Levitt Partner Jesse Dresser will be presenting an upcoming CLE webinar focused on the legal and regulatory issues surrounding 340B contract pharmacy arrangements.

About the Course

Contract pharmacy arrangements remain a critical component of the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program, even as drug manufacturers increasingly challenge their use and federal enforcement actions continue to generate litigation and regulatory uncertainty.

This course will provide healthcare counsel with practical guidance on the legal, operational, and reimbursement considerations involved in structuring and documenting contract pharmacy arrangements. The program will also address recent developments affecting the 340B program, including manufacturer restrictions, HRSA enforcement activity, and evolving compliance expectations for covered entities and contract pharmacies.

The session is designed to help attorneys and healthcare stakeholders better understand the current regulatory environment and navigate the complex compliance issues that arise when implementing and maintaining contract pharmacy relationships.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand recent developments affecting contract pharmacy arrangements under the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
  • Identify key legal and operational considerations when structuring and documenting contract pharmacy relationships.
  • Recognize compliance risks related to diversion, duplicate discounts, and inventory management.
  • Evaluate enforcement trends, including HRSA audits and ongoing litigation involving contract pharmacy restrictions.
