As AI tools become part of everyday oncology practice, from ambient AI scribes to diagnostic and genomic matching platforms, practices are facing new legal questions they haven’t had to answer before. Mariaeva will walk attendees through the legal issues medical practices should consider before adopting AI, including HIPAA privacy and security compliance, patient consent and disclosure requirements, and professional liability and standard-of-care concerns as AI plays a greater role in clinical decision-making.
