Geordan L. Ferguson, Esq. assists in Frier Levitt’s Life Sciences, Litigation Department. Geordan assists in representing many healthcare professionals in various aspects of litigation and arbitration, including specialty, retail and compound pharmacies, wholesalers/distributors, health plans, 340(b) covered entities and contract pharmacies, along with other healthcare providers. In addition, Geordan represents pharmacies and dispensing practices in disputes against Pharmacy Benefits Managers (PBMs) to recover direct and indirect remuneration (“DIR”) fees. He also has experience successfully representing pharmacies in audit and network access disputes.
Geordan earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, NJ. While in law school, he was an active member of the Mock Trial Board and successfully competed against other legal institutions across the country. He interned with the honorable Judge Steven C. Mannion, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey. Geordan also served as an intern for the New Jersey Attorney General’s office, where he gained experience in prosecuting violations of professional board regulations. Geordan graduated from Seton Hall Law School with a concentration in Health Law.
Before law school, Geordan worked as a logistics manager for the United States Naval Air Systems Command. Geordan earned his undergraduate degree at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, N.J., where he majored in Health Studies.
