PINE BROOK, N.J. – Frier Levitt is pleased to announce that Elli Albert, CLM has joined the firm as its first Director of Administration. In this role, Elli will direct and be responsible for Frier Levitt’s human resources, staff management, and oversight of all other administrative departments. She will act as part of the firm’s executive team and, as such, will guide and facilitate the firm’s strategic initiatives. Elli has worked in legal administration for over 24 years, most recently as Office Administrator at Fox Rothschild LLP in its Morristown, New Jersey, office.
Elli is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), an international organization, and the New Jersey chapter of ALA (NJALA). She has served in nearly every board officer position for NJALA, including President in 2019-2020, and now serves as an advisor to the NJALA board in her role as past president. Elli has also served in positions for ALA. She previously participated on ALA’s Regional Nominating Committee, and, most recently, she was selected as a Chapter Resource Team (CRT) liaison for ALA. As CRT liaison, Elli acts as a support resource for several ALA chapters and serves as a subject matter peer for other legal administrators.
Elli passed her Certified Legal Manager (CLM) exam in 2019. The CLM exam is a credential process by which individuals may demonstrate mastery of the core areas of knowledge identified as essential to the effective performance of a principal administrator. Elli is one of only seven individuals in New Jersey who currently hold the CLM designation.
Elli is a graduate of Montclair State University, summa cum laude, and holds a B.A. in English.
