Cindy Dang, PharmD, RPh, Esq., is an associate in Frier Levitt’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Department, with a particular focus on regulatory and transactional law. She advises pharmacies, diagnostic laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturers, healthcare technology companies, and practitioners on navigating the intricacies of the regulatory landscape.
Cindy’s practice area includes the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Healthcare Fraud Statute, and applicable state analogues. She counsels clients on professional fee splitting and the requirements of digital and telehealth data privacy laws.
Her legal development began with internships at the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research and the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General in both the Government Healthcare Fraud and the Consumer Affairs Counseling Sections. Through these experiences, Cindy fostered regulatory proficiency at the federal and state levels before joining Frier Levitt.
Prior to starting her legal career, Cindy earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy. She now utilizes her pharmacy background and regulatory depth to advise clients on central fill arrangements, compounding pursuant to 503A/503B, and prior authorization processing. Additionally, Cindy consults healthcare providers and medical groups on in-office dispensing, scope of practice, collaboration, and supervision of midlevel practitioners.
