Frier Levitt, LLC, a national boutique healthcare law firm, announced today that Ayesha Mehdi, Esq., MHSA, has joined the firm as Of Counsel in Nevada.
Ms. Mehdi focuses her practice on representation of physicians, dentists, Accountable Care Organizations and other health care professionals, in addition to various healthcare and closely held businesses, in corporate, transactional, and healthcare matters. She advises clients regarding fraud and abuse; Health Information Technology (HIT) and compliance, including the Stark II physician self-referral law; the Medicare/Medicaid anti-kickback law, corporate practice and fee-splitting restrictions; antitrust; health information privacy and security (HIPAA and HITECH Act); and healthcare reimbursement. Ms. Mehdi will continue Frier Levitt’s track record in representing Licensees in front of Nevada Medical, Dental, and Pharmacy Boards.
Ms. Mehdi also represents pharmacies, wholesalers, PSAOs, and pharmacy alliances regarding license issues, Nevada state pharmacy laws, Board of Pharmacy issues, and state DEA issues.

Prior to the practice of law, Ms. Mehdi held a management position at Hope Cancer Care of Nevada.
