Complimentary Webinar: Business Interruption Insurance, PPP Loans and Other COVID-19 Issues Impacting Providers

Frier Levitt Co-Founders Jonathan E. Levitt, Esq, and Daniel B. Frier, Esq. joined by New York City Office Managing Partner John E. Morrone, Esq. and Partner Michelle L. Greenberg, Esq. for this recorded webinar entitled  “Business Interruption Insurance, PPP Loans and Other COVID-19 Issues Impacting Providers”

This recorded webinar will cover several important topics including:

  • On March 22, 2020, Governor Andrew Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.10 canceling all elective surgeries and procedures. Effective April 28, 2020, this restriction was lifted with respect to a few counties in upstate New York where COVID-19 risk was low. As a result of the Executive Order, many healthcare practices and surgery centers sustained substantial loss of revenue for which insurance coverage may apply. In this webinar, we will address evaluating claims for Business Interruption coverage, including where to check to see if you have this coverage, what is required to substantiate a claim, and timeliness of making the claim. Join us for this brief seminar to obtain important information in order to avoid waiving any rights you may have to recover your losses.
  • You’ve received the PPP loan money, you have a basic understanding of how forgiveness works, but when you start planning, you realize there are a lot of open questions and varying interpretations of this incredibly complex law.  This presentation is not an intro class, or even an overview of how forgiveness works.  Rather, it is a deep dive into some of the more misunderstood and confusing aspects of forgiveness.
  • Let’s take a quick look at Medicare’s accelerated and advanced payments program for providers during Covid-19 emergency.
