Frier Levitt attorneys have made new law on practical and significant topics (see “Reported Decisions”). In one such matter, Jonathan Levitt, a founding Member of the firm, sought a witness statement from an insurance company. After the appellate division decision, the critical witness statement was produced, benefiting the client and changing New Jersey law on the “discoverability” of witness statements.
Being aggressive is not merely a “mantra.” Rather, it is our method of doing business. In one product liability action, our client contacted us the day after her husband was killed. Within days, Frier Levitt had obtained a court order securing the defective vehicle and preserving key evidence of the manufacturer’s negligence. We secured a $1,500,000.00 result for the widow. Our “results” do not end when the financial recovery is complete. In that matter, we located a sophisticated financial planner for the widow, ensuring that she and her children would receive proper guidance.
